Let's say you need a Medium-Sized Sedan. My vote immidiately goes to Mazda 6, because it's beautiful And so happy to be a car. But has Tomica get the 6 to look as good as the real thing? Let's see.
The Mazda 6, or known as Atenza in japan, is the part of their late 2013 collection, and comes in 2 colors, blue and red. The Atenza unfortunately was born when Tomica discontiued their Limited line, so it'll come only as a standard car. But nevermind, let's get on the review!
Design And Accuracy: 7/10
Aside from the button wheels, this is i think one of the best tomica standard released last year. Just look at those details in the grills at previous picture, which is remarkable because it's a 1/66. I almost give it 9, but the problem is, it's a bit too small. I think they can't afford to sell this baby on full-fledged 1/64 so they make it 1/66 instead. Plus the badge on the back and the rear-view mirror is Missing.
Fit And Finish: 7/10
The fit and finish on this thing is much better than hotwheels or matchbox or even the other tomica line-up. It feels like the tomica that was made before 1996 when japanese economic burst. It looks like it's painted like the real thing.
But still, there's some issue, like those button wheels that will gradually fade over time, and it's not even at the same league with the Fit and Finish on Tomica Limited Line, so i think 7 is fair.
Features: 6/10
It has opening doors and suspension. That's about it, just like any other tomica. So yeah, there's nothing special. Bonus point to make the gap on the door look normal and not oversized.
Value: 7/10
For 3-5 Dollars, plus it's still relatively easy to get, plus it's come with a very nice finish and good-looking car and paint, it's worth the money. Plus because Mazda 6 is quite sucsessful, you might be able to keep it and sold/trade them later with a profit!
Rarity: 6/10
It's not collectible yet. They still making those Atenza. But here's a catch: The Blue one has been discontinued, because those blue ones was the First edition and sold before the red one. So if you can, try to score the blue one. It's start to be rare now.
Should you get it?
If you own the real Mazda 6 in red/blue, hell yes. It's one of the finest 1/64 (or 1/66?) model of your car. But still, if you like it, i recommend you to get it. Now. Before it was discontinued.
Score: 33/50

Yeah.
Sometimes i'm debating myslef did i prefer the clean one or the one with badge. I prefer those JDM Badges, like Demio or Atenza or Stagea.
